The Resilience Project: A Lifestyle App for Happiness

The Resilience Project is a lifestyle app that aims to help users become happier by practicing gratitude, empathy, and mindfulness. The app was created by former teacher Hugh van Cuylenburg, who was inspired after spending time volunteering in an Indian village where people with very little were still incredibly happy. The app delivers programs to a range of organizations, including elite sporting clubs and primary and secondary schools. The presentations focus on what you have instead of what you don't have, understanding the benefits of helping others, and the importance of being healthy and active. The Resilience Project is used by some of the biggest sporting teams in the country, including AFL and NRL clubs, the Australian Diamonds, and the Australian Cricket Team.
